We have been told by many people that Ramadan time in Dubai’s catering, events and social scene means being quiet in our sector. We have to say that after our experiance this year with The Ramadan Garden and having played to a full house every night during Ramadan 2015, we are pleased to say this could not be more further from the truth.
The Ramadan Garden – Ghaf Kitchen in partnership with Al Serkal Avenue and A4 space set about to create an inclusive, cool and delicious Iftar offering that would appeal to our respective audiences. Our intention was to attract guests from all walks of life, background and religious calling to come together under one roof and share an Iftar meal together away from the standard hotel buffet offerings. Equally we wanted to avoid the waste that the standard hotel buffet can generate. The overall direction for the look and feel was to create an indoor garden, away from the searing heat of summer.
So The Ramadan Garden was born and we set about curating two separate spaces in A4, The Potting Shed was created to appeal to smaller groups and bookings whilst The Tree House (the upstairs area) was set up to accommodate larger bookings and parties.
